In the fourth quarter of 2024, personal finance apps in Switzerland exhibited varied trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides insights into the performance of the top five apps on a unified platform.

Splitwise saw a fluctuation in its weekly revenue, starting from approximately $1.4K at the beginning of October, dipping to $829 mid-November, and rising again to end the year at $1.2K. Downloads similarly showed a decline from 2.9K to a low of 1K in mid-November, but rebounded to 2.3K by year-end. Active users started at 56.5K and saw a gradual decrease to 45.4K by the end of December.

YNAB maintained relatively stable revenue, peaking at $856 in early October and closing the quarter at $666. Downloads were modest, ranging from 82 to 125 weekly, while active users remained steady, fluctuating slightly around 500.

For MoneyControl Spending Tracker, revenue was highest at $764 in the last week of December. Downloads were low, with a peak of 103 in late October. Active users started at 1.3K and ended the quarter slightly lower at 1.2K.

The performance of Splid – Split group bills showed a decline in revenue from $428 to $352 by December. Downloads decreased from 1.5K to 330 mid-December, before recovering to 1.2K. Active users initially decreased from 10.9K to 7.2K but concluded the quarter strong at nearly 12K.
